I live in the north and have plenty of snow here (about 2 feet). The roads are still dry 90% of the time. We just got blasted and the roads are already clear. So I don't accept it as an excuse. But I do understand how busy they are and I'm sure the stuff going on behind the scenes must be overwhelming. I think others would like to see it tear down the road too...

Clear, dry roads in the winter doesn't exactly mean it's safe to drive. Cold tires suck. I have traction issues in the middle of summer. Got even worse when the temps dropped below 50℉. The FBM car is already toeing the line between fun and death wish. Probably best they don't cross that line

I just read the OP. Dear lawd... that's solid STI territory right there.

How long did the transmission last? What about cv joint and rear axle?

Also, with that power at the car's weight, was functional aero needed to keep it on the road while tracking?

We blew the trans up at 700hp. The car has our upgraded rear diff, axles and driveshaft.

This car is built for drag racing

Wow that's a very uneducated comment. Is your car boosted, I assume not due to that statement? You seriously expect a shop to take a 700hp car out on a "clear" road when it's below freezing, that's pretty dumb. You may not accept that he doesn't want to risk wrecking his car to appease you but it's his choice to make.
