Cool, thanks guys!! I was just a bit worried that the downpipe modification we had to do affected performance. Now I see not at all

I would find a new installer or modify the Perrin overpipe instead of modifying the Greddy downpipe. With the downpipe installed to the turbo and the overpipe and frontpipe loosely installed, you should be able to manipulate them enough to get the clearance required.

Most of the time it isn't Greddy or HKS. They do the R&D with stock cars so most of it works with oem set ups. Also I bet Perrin didn't design the over pipes when the Greddy turbo kit came to mind. We had this problem with others brands as well.

@Pablitomarrero We had the same problem. Some are a hit or miss. We got some that worked and some needed fabrication. Good Luck but its a easy fix not that bad.

The fix actually took less time than I thought. It took them a bit less than an hour to solve the issue. They just took some measurements and cut and resoldered the downpipe to the perfect shape. Thanks for the help guys! The car is a whole different animal now!

I totally understand that, but i stated that comment referring to what hks and greddy were back in 199x

I love the kit. It did seem harder to bolt on in some places since some tools/angles are too friendly. But the kit is sold. Don't freak out that the kit doesn't have a BOV port. It originally wasn't designed for it but you can always install one.

And honestly, any FI kit you go with will spice up the car like it was meant to be. Enjoy

Same here buddy. FullBlown tuned my Greddy kit on E85 @ 11psi doing just over 300whp. Feels like a small rocket ship if you ask me

I agree with you on that Randy. It is a gamble when putting an aftermarket part with another aftermarket part and not an OEM. But majority of the time the parts can work together. It's important to check before making the purchase though.

Well im running 225 on mustang dyno with just 7psi. It already feels like a rocket ship!! I installed the FV valve and the sound is just... Amazing!!! I still get the compresson surge sound when under high load with moderate RPM and the swoosh soun when WOT. Both sounds are amazing . I must say that combining this kit with perrin op and frontpipe was the best idea ever... The sound is... 8==D~
This is probably due to the fact that Perrin has one of the best exhaust notes and the Turbo kind of quiets it down. So its a very deep gruble, loud enough when steping on it and very aggressive and sexy feel. NO DRONE!! Im super happy with this. Best part? Has a stock look to it!!!

That's great! Sounds like a really nice setup too. I will be putting an EVO 3 exhaust on my kit so I'm hoping it will sound good.

???

Changing injectors (and/or pump) will not cause your car to stink or consume more gas.

You will only consume more gas when WOT when you are pushing more HP through the engine.

Maintaining a water/meth setup is a hassle which I learned the hard way. It also adds a layer of complexity which will destroy your engine if it should ever fail/run out. PM me if you would like to hear more about my experiences with meth injection.
