First post.
I'm trying to decide whether I should jump on a 2013 or wait for the 2014. It would seem that I'm not alone. I came across this article today and when I first read it I was pretty excited. It seemed like the first real news in a while. www.torquenews.com/1084/subaru-advancing-2014-forester-and-brz-china-market My first impression was, awesome they're going to unveil the 2014 BRZ in a week and we'll know what all has been changed. But on closer inspection the "2014" is always associated with the forester and it's ambiguous which BRZ they're talking about. Now that I've read it again I'm thinking they're just talking about the 2013. ![]() What do you guys think? |

I pre-ordered 2014 BRZ limited and just hoping on these being fixed (from the most important first):
-direct injection seals issue -chirp issue -light condensation -any rattles The HP is just fine with me, noone cancelled SC/TC options if I'll need more down the road. Torque dip would be a nice fix but I'm okay if it's still there, it can soon be greatly reduced by the Nameless header+exhaust and a proper tune. Either way can't wait to get my car, I'm the first on the list at my dealership and estimated delivery is mid-end october

I ordered mine the beginning of this month. I believe most dealerships should be able to order it from their system around this time... They said the ETA for the car should be around end of September/beginning of October.

So did the 2014 get TGV's (tumbler generator valves) as some had speculated and/or feared? The 2014 Forester FA engines (NA and turbo both) have them, and the 2015 WRX will have them also.
