My name is Steve. I'm a fanatic of the phantom esc. It's been about an hour since my last taste of awesome. I don't think I can ever stop. Mostly due to the fact I've only spent $2150 and this addiction is so cheap.

Some people call this hyperbole. I call it bad a$$.

I've been watching the Jackson racing supercharged thread a bit over the last two days and they recently did a 0 - 127 run.

To see how we compared for in acceleration I doubled both video's and started them both at 4000rpm.

Please keep in mind this does consider any enviromental variables such as temperature/altitiude or incline during accel.

True. It's still a better tune than OTS so why is it okay to claim that an OTS tune with a more restrictive exhaust will make more power and cost less than the current model?
I've read just about every thread in the Software section. E85 has been discussed on many other platforms. The debate is always around. The fact is you don't need Ecutek or a flexfuel kit. You can get one and nothing is wrong with that.

Anyway, Its a OTS tune because it comes from a handheld device. OTS (off the shelf) You can order a OFT and upload the tune. What would you call the OFT tune if not OTS?

I'm pretty sure you meant "Off The Shelf", as in right off the shelf and not customized.

I just don't understand how a OFT (ESC) isn't a OTS tune. Diablo, Cobb, and whatever else are all tuners. They come with a tune and you flash your ECU to that tune.

And e85? That is really awesome if you get both! Really makes the 550 worth it if you get e85....try and do that with ecutek and its usually another 300.

Maybe I will be adding OFT to my list.... His results were sure smooth and consistent. Add that to brzedit and ecutek I already own and I have the trifecta! Lol.

I am really interested mist in that open flash header though .

I tried searching "300" or "250" as keywords to get some results but nothing showed up... - so sorry for the 1,000th time you have been asked this - when can we expect the TQ-300?

- How much hp increase can we expect vs. the 250?
- How safe is the 300 vs the 250?
- Can we expect both the 250 and 300 to have OEM-like reliability? **(similarly to some other SC manufacturer's claims.)

thanks

No release date for the tq 300. Expect the 250 in late January. On the first post and fifth (of this thread) I believe are tq 300 and 250 comparisons. I don't see why we wouldn't get own reliability as it's a partial on system.
