To save some time reading the other thread, here is the fix.

Quote:
For anyone wondering, it's extremely easy to do yourself. Unbolt the 2 10mm nuts on the gas pedal, and unplug it. Apply the felt to the back of it, and retighten it.

It didn't solve mine. I have the exact metal buzzing from the other thread and tried the felt under the gas pedal. Still buzzes.

I notice the buzzing when I am driving on the highway, buzzing noise is killing me. Sounds like electrical malfunctioning from the switches on the driver side ><

No. I'm only taking it to the dealer for serious issues I can't fix myself. The longer the dealer has it, the more opportunity there is for them to screw something up.

Slight buzzing behind the steering wheel? I'm not giving the dealer any time for that. I'll keep futzing.

Yeah, I got the same thing too! I bought mine with 21 miles on it and it has done it since day one. Going back to the dealership on Monday along with many other problems/complaints

i spent the afternoon trying to localize the source of this sound . . . and can't figure it out . . . its so hard to pinpoint. i searched the forums and it seems like there are a number of posts regarding this issue but no clear answer. one thread mentioned the accelerator assembly but i'm not convinced thats the source in my case. i'm hoping someone who has figured this out can chime in . . .

@2014scionfrs please let us know what the dealer says . . . thanks so much
