Light buzzing sound from driver-side dash

Hi,

I have about 450 miles on my BRZ and from day one there has been this metallic buzzing sound coming from the front left side of my dash area. It's not too loud, and almost sounds like a buzz from a busted speaker (but to the best of my knowledge it's not coming from the speakers, I usually have audio off). I searched the forum and I think it's coming from the window control panel area. Any idea what this might be and what I can do to fix it?

Thanks

I'm not quite sure. When I put my fingers over the buttons I don't feel anything, and it doesn't seem to affect the buzzing. I'll have to try some more when I drive later today.

I don't think it's coming from the window buttons. It's hard to figure out what the source is :/

I hear it too, it almost sounds like it's coming from behind the speedometer.

it just sounds like a buzz, not sure if it's a metallic sound... but a buzz..

yeah exactly, some days I feel like it's coming from dash, other days from the left AC vent, sometimes from the window buttons. I can never pinpoint it and it's becoming really annoying.

I have that left AC vent buzzing/rattling noise too. It happens on rough surface roads. Even on a flat road as long as the surface is rough. I couldn't find any way to stop it and I gave up a long time ago. If there is an easy fix, that will be great.

Yes, I notice that mine buzzes on rough surfaces, and usually when I'm around 2.5k rpm, but generally it buzzes whenever it wants. It happens in a lot of situations.

I know have the feeling that it's coming from under the dash where all those wires and connections are. I can't pinpoint it while driving but there are so many things down there that are loose enough to be causing this.

I hear a buzz sound whenever driving on rough surfaces or whenever I'm on the highway or simply going highway speeds. I always thought it was coming from the pedals but its really hard to pinpoint where exactly its coming from.

Electric steering maybe seeing how its mounted under the dash?

I've got the same buzzing, I've noticed it's more pronounced on cold days when the interior of the cab is cold, but not always. Driving me nuts!
