Any idea if the axle makes contact with the exhaust? I noticed a heat shield between the pipe and axle in this picture:

I just installed the heat sheild to test it out. I ended up taking it off as it wasn't needed. It didn't get hot enough. It's for an e9x m3 so the exhaust won't burn up the diff.

It wasn't touching the axle. It's very close to the subframe but they can send you an adjustable hanger to lower it.

Love the hood but does it actually add any functionality? I wonder if it helps with the oil temps...

Yes it is functional; it vents hot air out.

Thanks. I never really liked canister style exhaust, but I was really surprised how this turned out. It's broken in a lil more now and you can hear more of a rumble from the boxer engine. My gf doesn't think it's too loud inside. I was surprised lol

Yeah I'll be painted. I'm just waiting for more parts so it can be all done at once.

I like where this is going and what kind of bumper is that? Also I can't really tell by the picture but does is get rid of the annoying oval raised area for the emblem?

I like the looks of this BRZ. Quiet aesthetic. Nice touches with the green on the vents and the halos. Looks like the rear CSL bootlid edge is kinda chromed and faded out.. Very nice touch.

That front bumper will look great too while being functional
You might have to disable the headlight washers though.. well.. remember NOT to use them while the lights are on.
