Baseline looks good baseline.

Can you comment on the comparison of the acceleration to this setup compared to a stockish S2000 on track?

Haven't had a chance to test yet... I'll be driving back to back with a client's CSG prepped S2k this Saturday.

Would you say that's around 300chp, @CSG Mike? And just to re-confirm: on Cali 91, on a CARB legal tune, stock exhaust?
Yes, this is on Cali 91 (10% ethanol... yuck), CARB legal tune, stock exhaust, stock header, stock cats, etc.

Compare to Drift Office's 92 octane, SD tune, full exhaust, front pipe, and HKS EL header.

Acceleration should not even be close

More interested in a supercharged vs. supercharged comparo. Stock Jap hot cars shouldn't have a chance against a forced induction car, period.

For comparison purposes.... the kits are identical, and both use the same pulley. This is how dramatic the difference is with breathing mods with a supercharger. DO NOT use catless pipes with the CARB tune. The CARB tune is intended for cars with both OEM catalytic converters.

You can see how linear the gain is with breathing mods. As exhaust gas flow linearly increases, the power gain also linearly increases. Both kits eliminate the factory torque dip. Also of note, is that the torque dips present in the Kraftwerks kit is not present in the Jackson Racing CARB tune.

Jackson Racing CARB tune
- CA 91 octane (E10)
- OEM header
- OEM front pipe
- OEM exhaust

Drift Office SD tune
- Washington 92 octane
- HKS EL catless header
- Motiv catless front pipe
- unknown exhaust

A S2k with cams and a TP outputs as much power as a Jacksin Racing Supercharged FRS/BRZ running the OEM cats

I've solicited comparos with Vortech and Kraftwerks owners. They all declined. If any Vortech and Kraftwerks owners are interested, please let me know here, and we will cover your track day entry.

Please feel free to quote this post and tag owners that I may be unaware of.

If you volunteer your car, please know that I will be driving your car on track, while taking a full datalog. You are more than welcome to ride shotgun. We're more interested in the data, not lap times, as the lap times can have a large variance depending on the other modifications on your car.

Also remember that the F20C has a really broad powerband, and the F22C is paired up with more aggressive gearing than the FRS/BRZ.

We'll be comparing with a S2k that has a stock powertrain though

I meant against an S2K, but this works too.

~330whp. Makes almost no difference for us, since we tune for reliability, not outright power.
