Coil pack issues. Well this is the second one if have seen on the FRS/BRZ, luckily the front coli packs are easier to get too. Though why they are failing is a good question, but then again I have seen them fail on the STI and WRX also, so hard to say.

As for what to notice when it happens. Usually at very high RPM, 5500+ under full load you will feel a blip in power consistently at the same RPM. At first there may be no CEL, but as you continue to drive it will get worse and worse and finally start throwing the check engine lights for one of the following codes.

P0351, P0352, P0353, P0354, which are all faulty coil packs, each one referring to each specific cylinder. Usually the spark plug is fine when replacing the coil, but you can check while you are there.

Hey Bill
Car going into Toyota tomorrow, change pack 1 and I will just replace plugs same time while at it.
I opted to try out the HKS intake duct to replace the cone. Is this where you picking up issues with intake?

Are you able to see anything in the logs to indicate this is happening? The only hiccup I have experienced is at 6800 rpms every single time but in the logs I saw 2-3 deg of timing being pulled right there.

I have another intake from a reputable vendor coming in that I will be testing on my vehicle soon. Along with the a supercharger or two or three.

Also working on some turbo kit tunes next. AVO is one we have been developing with multiple boost map options. But we have a coupe other kits we are looking into also.

Lot of new developments for next year so keep an eye out.

Cheers,
William Knose
Is that two or three list full yet?

Wrxgoose made 265whp on a dyno dynamics with a header back perrin exhaust, the 75mm pulley, ecu trek(not race rom), the injectors supplied with the innovate kit and a good tune. That's on pump gas. With e85 I would expect a little more. With e85 do you plan on upgrading the injectors. The stock injectors will hold back power. How is the afr.

The innovate kit doesn't come with injectors.

Stock injectors are good to 300+ whp, as demonstrated by @DeliciousTuning

I'm still debating on weather getting this or the fa20club turbo, I prefer feeling power instantly with a sc. 300 on this charger is impressive.

Are you bumping into the 200g/s maf limit by chance? You should be getting close if not over.. but I would imagine you have already raised that limit though.
