As of now, the suspension is stock.

I am not looking for the 'hella' flush look either.
That will look something like this http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=75

I would not do it unless you lower the car aswell, as it will look offroadish otherwise -> http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=22222&page=5

If you're interessted in the basic calculations on how wheels and offset work, try this http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=995

Will this fit?

Rim: 19x8.5 +45 (squared), back spacing = 6.44"
Tire: 235/35-19 (or is a 225/35-19 better)
Lowered about 1"-1.2"

Thanks!

Yup you're more than good out back and a little closer up front but you'll still clear perfectly fine (assuming using lowering springs and not coils). You'll have plennnnty of room if you're running coilovers.

And I'd run the 235's over the 225's

You have clarified my confusion. I finally understand the whole offset thing.

You sir, have a very nice looking 86. I usually don't like big wings, but it looks sexy on your vehicle. Not to mention, I would love to be in Germany again to cruise the Autobahn. I spent 1994-1996 in Wuerzburg. Sadly, I never made it to Switzerland. I am sure my future ex-wife lives there though!

Fronts will be fairly flush, but rear will be sunken in a bit. It's not going to be a lot, but won't be as flush as in the front. Most people run staggered (8.5 F and 9.5 R) because it makes the front and rear pretty even

Thanks! I ran staggered on my last car (BMW). It looked great, but I like the idea of rotating and tire longevity these days :-)

Yup I'm with you there! That's why I'm running 17x9 +38 57dr's front and rear

Which is more flush and fits (or not)?

18x8 +35 (sq)
255/35-18

Or

18x8 +45 (sq)
255/35-18

I'm liking the wider 255 tire, but not sure if it's too much and I should look at a 245? Thanks!

18x8 +35 (sq)
255/35-18

About flush
------------

18x8 +45 (sq)
255/35-18

About 10mm tucked in

Not sure if the front will fit without coilovers, as you may have clearance issues with the struits/inner Fender

So the +35 is the route to go with a 255 tire without rubbing the strut?

With that wheel setup, yes

Hopefully, the 255 doesn't look too massive and over power the 18x8 rim... LOL!
