Wonderful, you don't like lifestyle videos. Congratulations. Our Marketing Director does. How does that have any effect on the capability, reliability, and output of the product?

Might I remind you of this car:

Doing things like passing cars at will on the track, laying down the fastest times of any 86 on the track at 86Fest, making good power, and having 0 issues.

the only thing about the vortech in my opinion is the TQ come in at a good level only on medium/high rpm. I know it's because of the different blower compared to innovate/kraftwerk/JR, but for sure for high whp/tq SC vortech is on top of the list.

It's also perfect for those who don't want the complexity of having to tap oil pan, or run external oil reservoirs or coolers like other SC setups.

And at this point installed on more cars than probably any other brand or kit on the market. It just works reliably. Still waiting on real world track data from users of other kits. So much BS on this forum.
I don't have any issues with running a Vortech, just keep it above 25 deg F . Heck 90% of the forced induction owners of my new car utilize a Vortech blower with great success.

It's actually 25 degrees. If you are gonna troll do it right.
(yes temp warranty is still a bit annoying)

But we have been running the blower in -2F in Illinois and it works.

Smaller pulley really wakes up the midrange, and its a very easy swap

Im also not convinced the kraftwerks/jr will be much better, your best bet for low end would be the innovate kit or maybe the electric supercharger some guys are playing with

I figure the 25* number was a guess by Vortech anyways, but I edited my post for accuracy.

From the dyno i have seen of JR/Kraftwerk it looks like the 200tq comes in pretty quickly... but hey need to see more dyno before call it a day.

Innovate would be my first choice for torque delivery, but there are not really any good dyno charts on it or the one around are not that great if someone is looking for a 250-260whp/200tq.

The electric supercharger is a joke, right now is good only to go on a straight line, because if you wanna ride fast you need smooth power delivery and not an injection of TQ all of a sudden ONLY if you go WOT instead of building it up while you accellerate.

I'm sorry if my English is not good but it's not my native language.

Anyway hope vivid will be happy with his choice and looking forward to see some dyno charts

Sorry, guys. I'm having my marketing director do the full write up. Should be up soon. @Brian@Vortech, the kit looks awesome! BTW we chose this kit because the car is an automatic, the kit is safe and reliable, and gives that extra power for daily driving.

I'm laughing at what King Tut posted and I don't make a comment about the capability, reliability, or output of YOUR product. Who pissed in your Cheerios? Defensive much?

Because this forum becomes blatant trolling and BS. And people read these threads trying to research which product to buy then read crap like that which could be easily misread by someone who is new to the site.

You'd be defensive too if it was your product. Bring a valid troll argument to the table and that's a different story.

Which part made me defensive - the part where you assumed I was responding to you and not the person who actually made reference to the video, or the fact that I coincidentally put you in check without actually ever reading your post?

I posted a Vortech video in a Vortech thread that was referenced by another poster. I think it was valid just as the temp limitation for warranty support is. I look forward to seeing the Vivid Racing write up.
