This is pretty interesting. Wonder what everyone will say if the stock parts can put numbers up close to aftermarket parts.

Did you happen to grab a picture of the inside of the resonator and the cat? I'm really curious what that resonator looks like inside.

Putting it on next weekend but i'll be running a o2 spacer so there should be no CEL.

I can do that for you.

Don't quote me but it will prob be similar. If you look at most AM applications most headers don't run a cat. That alone will give you gains. For the FP it's not a 2.5. So OBV it's not going to make the power of a 2.5 FP. BUT if we are talking about VS stock? Yes these will deff make more power. The power shouldn't be really to much lower then my last set up. We shall see.

In for dyno results...

I remember reading about Perrin doing this but they replaced the header cat with a straight pipe like you did on the front pipe. Can't find that thread at the moment.

Also... won't that inner lip cause some flow issues? Maybe grind or pry it out?

This one...

I actually gutted my header last Sunday, and I'm running a uni chip. I could tell a instant difference. No cel, but I think that was because of the chip. Torque dip feels gone, and it's not really that much louder.

Also, call me a tree hugger or whatever, but removing cats is dumb. The only valid reason to removing them is because you run leaded race gas.
Or it eats itself up in my case and gets sucked into turbo read $$$$$,...now running catless and the emission smell is starting to bug me,.....it really stinks for DD use with windows down .
