Pearl is home and looking good as new. They waxed the parts of the car that weren't painted, detailed her and she looks like she just came off the showroom floor. Taking her up to SF this weekend. Maybe we'll be spotted. Look for PNKPERL license plate. WOOHOO. I got my baby back

Hopefully not. Should've taken a picture of that bomb some damn pigeon dropped on my car the other day though. It was like an eagle flew over my car.

I know how it feels, buddy... I just got rear-ended couple hours ago and the family in the car took off!!!! luckily, my gf got their license plate down. Hopefully the cops catch them soon! took my brz to the auto body and the estimate is $1300. Have any of guys been a victim of a hit and run? How did turn out for you guys and how much did guys get compensated for?

that doesn't look too bad really... I bet if you did some polish and wax that would practically go away or be reduced by 90%. Give it a shot and if it doesn't all buff out then consider taking it to a shop or detailer for repair/recommendations.

Hmm, what polish/wax would you recommend?

I'm no expert but I like Meguiar's brand stuff. They have a multi-step polish and wax system and you just use each one in order. First a cleaner, then polish, then wax. Or sometimes it's just a 2 step process.

Something like this:

or this
http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-scr...moval-kit.html

(not saying to buy from there, but look for that kind of product).
