ABS? Did the BRAKE light on the dash show up too?. Usually I would check the brake fluid level first before anything else.

No, I wish it was something that simple.

After doing the brake upgrade, I'm not sure if it's the braided lines or the Super Blue fluid or some combination there of, but I've been hard on my brakes, and I've had almost no loss of fluid.

But as for the ABS light, which also means my TCS light is on and my cruise control is non-functioning, allow me to explain.

On the Passenger side of your car, which is where my accident occurred, under you hood you have a fuse box right behind the passenger head light and in front of the wheel well. As a result of my accident, said fuse box was cracked. Now the block of fuses inside it was fine, but because it had to be replaced, $1300 later, I'm the proud owner of a new fuse box and block because they are not sold separately. Thankfully insurance picked up the bill.

But back to the ABS light…..so under this fuse box in a small, round, 5 pin harness that governs the ABS/TCS/cruise control. (please understand I'm always mixing up which is the male/female end on those stupid plugs) But I believe it's the male end, that is not clicking in correctly, because it won't stay connected. I believe it was crushed/damaged in the accident.

I've already had the (what I believe is the female end), which then goes down into your front passenger wheel well to your ABS pressure sensor, replaced. That end is brand new. However the other end is connected to the much larger wiring harness for the entire engine. Not looking forward to having to talk to the guys at the body shop about this one.

If you think it's the plug. That can be fixed.

Down side is I know it's the plug. Problem is it won't stay connected. Think it may be the side that is part of the whole engine wiring harness.

Parked in the far corner of a gas station parking lot to get some water to take on my Saturday drive, a very nice woman backed into me. Thank the Goddess she has insurance that is paying 100% to fix this ungodly mess. I never did take my drive. Poo
