I could be wrong, but I believe I read somewhere that OFT comes with launch control and by default its set at 6k rpm. Is there a way to modify that and set it at 4k?

by default it's 5600 from OFT. Very easy to change. Just modify the value in the "Launch Control RPM Delta" table. To get 5600 you set this value to 2000. (Redline - 2000) = 7600. To get to 4k you set the value to 3600.

So I was looking at the new OFT website... and found the following on the home page... http://www.openflashtablet.com/

Quote:
Lowest Prices with OFT Dollars Discount
The OpenFlash Tablet is the only tuning platform that actually pays for itself. For every OpenFlash Tablet you purchase, you also get an equal value of OFT Dollars that you can apply to the purchase of other products for your vehicle.
Is this for real? If I understand it correctly if I buy the tablet for $495, I will get 495 "OFT Dollars", which would pay for an OP and most of an intake. According to their website I could get an Perrin overpipe and most of an intake for that....
Seems like an awful lot of performance for ~$650

Just read that too. Says all of the open flash dollars can't be used in one purchase. How much can be used then? I'm also interested in how this works...

I was looking at it earlier and almost wanted to buy it just to grab a rear spoiler, it looks like they only allow you savings.... its very confusing, but I think you still have the pay the price "$XX with OFT dollars" in real money as well

After looking closer that is my guess is similiar
IE Perrin 2.5" Exhaust is $900, and you can use up to $120 in OFT dollars to bring it down to $780?

Hi guys,
Just to clarify, the maximum OFT discount you can apply to any individual item is reflected in the purchase buttons (green). For example, the pre-painted rear spoiler regularly costs $350 (as shown in the "regular price" purchase button. But it only costs $260 with OFT dollars. In this case, applying 90 ($350-$260) OFT dollars to the discount. If you purchased the OFT for $495, this still means that you have 405 OFT dollars let in your customer account to apply to other/future purchases. This approach allows us to effectively advertise below the manufactures minimum advertised price (MAP) since we are applying credits to our OFT customers instead of just whoring out parts to everyone.

Cheers
shiv

What modifications do you have? If you have a stock header, it is recommend that you run the Stage 1 map.
