Once you get it in hand it would also cost around $150 (guess) to ship back to them.
That's just the thing. Companies can't operate like that. I (unlike some) tend to hold onto grudges when people rip me off. I will NEVER put another APR product on my car and will always advise against others doing so. There are many options out there and you don't have to live with shady companies. Didn't they tell another guy on here recently that the bumpers have side marker provisions? OMG..

I can vouch for this, he got rid of his APR CF side mirrors because of this.

Just read through all 8 pages of this thread and I'm sure glad I did. Thought Apr was a high quality company for their price but am definitely skeptical of buying anything through them now.

Couple of things to note about those mirrors:

1. I bought them before I discovered the horror in the bumper box.

2. I installed them and found that I had a hard time seeing with the smaller mirrors and sold them to Kevin since he wanted them.

All in all, APR is a D at best.

Since I did a flat color on this the parking lights stuck out really bad without a bezel so I just dipped the parking lights too.

All in all the bumper fits. It needs some work to get it to where it needs to be but at the price APR sells it at and if you can do the work yourself it's a nice mod. It will lower the front of the car by about 7/8" and if the splitter is added I'd guess that's another 1/2" down for a total of 1 3/8" lower than the factory bumper. Looks like I'll be bringing the front up a bit on the coils so I'm not on the pavement.

I'll be adding the total APR Carbon package now. I absolutely love APR carbon. Too bad their fiberglass isn't up to the same standards but then it would be a $2,000 bumper vs a $655 bumper. Going to spring for Front Bumper Canards, Front Splitter, Rocker Extensions, Rear Skirts, and GTC wing.

This is a great bumper. Stock shape with lip and brake duct molded in. Can you please weigh this bumper once it's cured?

I'll weigh the factory and APR this weekend. My guess is that the APR is about 3 lbs heavier.

Here it is. Never did weigh it but I will soon enough. Looks fantastic now that it's done. I used quick latches to keep it nice and snug to the car.

I installed the Kraftwerks Supercharger last week and buttoned it all up.

Awesome job digital_assassin, sorry that you had to go through this crap. I like what it seems to be a quick release mod for the front bumper.

Still have the plastic clip behind where the side marker should be and 1 in the wheel well so the plastic isn't flopping around and 3 bolts across the top. Nothing at all under the car.
