Want to pull the trigger in the next six months as I check on these forums daily to check up on your guys' experience with the kit. Hopefully they're get their CARB-approval sometime in the next 6 months too.
I've had no leaking problems (knocking on wood). SC installed in August and FA20 club's version of intercooler installed a couple of weeks ago. I have had no need to refill the fluid reservoir, either. I had a shop install the intercooler and they had several issues with the kit-- incorrect sized fittings and cheap hoses. However, the FA20 version has a bigger fluid reservoir and larger heat exchanger. The fluid reservoir also has a bigger opening to allow you to put ice cubes in it when at the track for extra cooling.

Some great info to share.
I drove from Durban on the coast to Johannesburg, 600km, which is 1753m above sea level, air very thin.
I went to a supercharger specialist to resolve the leak issue, as we could not establish where the leak was coming from, after removing the back and sealing the L connectors.
The mechanic used Carb Spray and smoke, which identified the leak coming from the two inlet pipe into the cooler lamina.
Removed the kit and found the technician who installed pinched the boost O rings on the small aluminum pipe which seals the boost and the coolant. Major leak.
We ran some logs and @Delicious Tuning tune a map for the altitude and sent through.
Part of my visit was to attend a Toyota, Mazda charity Dyno day, which I was challenged to take the new Sprintex SC Delicious Tuned against the Vortech Visconti Tuned
To ensure equal comparison we fitted exact mods, so both cars had
Header, overpipe, full 3" performance pipe, AFE air filters.

Being my first visit to Johannesburg the night before the event, I went to the same dyno the Vortech had previously run and did 2 pulls.
I got 197hp and the Vortech had got 215hp, we plotted the graphs on top of each other and it looked as we have all seen where the Sprinted pulls from low down and the Vortech take over from 5500 rpm and get higher power top end.

Next day I met up with the Vortech car, we filled our cars with 91OCT and put 2 cans of Torco octane booster, to further ensure both cars identically matched. We drove 20km to the event.

Now this was an absolute eye opener for everyone present.
I ran first, 4 gear 2000rpm to 7400 rpm
251hp 277Nm

The Vortech ran direct after me
245hp 255Nm

We did 3 pulls on each car which further showed a interesting statistic
I got 245hp on my first run and got stronger each pull, with highest being run 3
The Vortech got highest on run1 and lost power each run after.

The Sprintex Intercooled kit out performed the Vortech in every way

To rub salt in the vorthech driver wounds, we did 0 to 100 off the line runs, 2 runs I beat the Vortech by a full cars length.
I'm awaiting dyno graphs plotting both cars on the same graph.

I want to say a huge thanks to Bill @Delicious Tuning for helping me sort out the leaks and sending updated tune at early hours of the morning.
I look forward going back home and fine tuning the car on the coast.

@Ryan86, I'm glad you figured it out and thanks for sharing, I'm having mine installed on Monday and will let the technician know to pay attention to the o-rings.

I have 300 witnesses and the dyno to prove it.

I've watched all the videos and posts aswell, however, how many have had each car identically set up on the same dyno run straight after each other.
This test could not have been more accurate.

Ryan86 Believe or not

Oh and I have not seen the test done comparing Intercooler vs Intercooler kit....

Great stuff, make sure you do all the little things I've explained through my findings before you install, once on its a Biatch to sort out.
Something else we did while I had the kit off.
At the back of the charger on the right if you standing looking at the back of the charger is a small screw, this is for boost connection. I fitted an 4mm screw in with pipe about 30 cm long, so I can read boost on a dyno or even run into the car for a boost gauge. Sprintex pointed this out to me, as I could not read boost via the ECU due to using the stock map sensor which only goes to .1 bar 3 psi.
Worth considering.
Good luck with your install.

What? never knew about this. I've been in the process of modifying my MAP/IAT sensor plate to install a hose barb fitting for a boost source. I'll have to take a look at this when i have the blower off to install the IC.

Something else to ensure is to use Ethylene glycol coolant in your intercooler.

And do yourself a favour, take off your IAT and see what difference in performance you get. I removed and ran dyno got almost 10whp more gains.

Now I have not got facts on the IAT, but my temps are lower without the IAT and car pulls stronger. Need to investigate this a bit more.

I also have found the blue gates belt tighter than the belt supplied, got less drag, IMO.

I don't actually have the IAT sensor connected at the moment, still using the one off the MAF on my current tune.

I went to install a new blue gates belt a couple weeks ago and couldn't get it stretched around the pulley and it was too cold out for me to spend more than 5 minutes on so I ended up switching to the black one, which definitely went on a lot more easily.

Have your IAT compensation tables been adjusted correctly? I wouldn't advise disconnecting the IAT sensor. Where is yours, MAF or MAP? TBH the MAF sensor temperature won't be accurate for the air temperature entering the engine anyway.

@Ryan86 Great numbers and congrats on beating the vortech.

Just curious, are you running any cooling mods? Oil cooler or upgraded rad

I don't know of this fitting either and I just had the back of the charger off.
