Honestly, the most difficult part of a headlight upgrade will be removing the bumper. That's about it.
The most important things are plug and play in every setup. The H7 plug will be adapted to work with the FR-S stock H11 plug. The 9005 plug from the high beam will be adapted to allow the mechanical flap to function. If coming from an H11 HID setup, just get new bulbs. We've been working with lights, retrofitting, and more for a while. These products come from the same location. Either Taiwan or mainland China. Winjet is using an H7 projector and so is Spyder. Here is an example of the projector: There's your high beam and low beam. 1 bulb and then a projector with a mechanical flap. Additional features are usually separated out so that you can control how they function. This is where they might use splices or T taps. |

You mean the poll thread that doesn't give any real OFFICIAL information about them? Yeah.

Tell them to hurry up and ship you some so that you can sell them! Hahaha, I need a new set of headlights and really don't want to just get another set of stock ones.

No....the preorder thread...why not ask in a thread about them instead of a thread about a different companies light? |

By additional features, do you mean the LED DRL's? Could you not just make it so the LED strips "high beam" come on with the DRL's and then go to their "low beam" setting when the running lights turn on?

DRLs and turns in this case only because they are not a standard feature in our stock headlights (FR-S).
Even if they are wired with plugs, I'm going to say there is a 75% chance you could control how they function by wiring them up yourself. |

H7 with flap on the projector for high beam. Single casing performs both functions.
You will only need one H7 bulb. |

I heard a rumor on another board that the quality of these lights is not as good as factory. Can anyone confirm or deny this. Thanks.

I obviously new they were not going to be as good, but I was told that they are considerably worse. The pictures look great but I just wanted to hear from someone else who saw them in person to give me their opinions on the lights. But thanks for your help.
