The interesting part of these kits it most of it comes down to who is tuning for it.
If someone drove my car and then Charged86 Vortech I can bet 99% of people would not think it was the same kit.

did any of these vortech kits have smaller pulleys? im thinking about going to an even smaller pulley and wastegate it at 13 or 15 psi. My theory is that I will benefit more power down low because of faster spinning of blower. oh and I need a clutch before I install my header wanna hit 400whp on e85

and no I don't care I will have to rebuild blower when it lets go.

So what if you don't have as much power as the PD under 5500rpm, just be happy with what you have after 6500rpm even if the right sized turbo has more power from 2300 to red line.
I don't crap on anyone going turbo/PD. (in fact, its more often than not the other way around IMO)

I am also not defensive until someone tells me that my reasons for buying a vortech kit are invalid and that x/y/z product is better for me

I think any FI choice on this platform will produce solid gains.

Your vortech kit

There are always bugs/issues installing any FI kit IMO.
That being said, I have not touched my kit after install except for when I changed the supercharger oil after the first 2500 miles and installed an aftermarket bypass valve. I fully expect to never "fix" anything on the kit except for when I change the belt yearly or when it shows sign of wear.
Hi
How much did you get your vortech for? is there rally a noticeable difference in initial throttle response than the NA? I, too, heard that the vortech kit is really reliable and plan on getting one when it goes on sale or just buy it from Perrin since there price is pretty reasonable.
