Go on test drives, figure out what gets YOUR motor running. Just because you have a TC now doesn't mean the FRS is the right car for you. It's a fortunate time right now, there's a lot of affordable options from RX8's to S2000's to Mustangs to used Corvettes and Caymans, hell you could be driving home in a < $5k miata this weekend and it could be the perfect car for you, we really don't know what is best for you.

[QUOTE=AsianStyle;1327610]Yes, but best bang for the buck at what?
Best bang for the buck straight line = mustang, camaro, sti, evo, etc... Best bang for the buck track times = mustang, sti, evo, etc... Best bang for the buck handling = twins, miata, etc.. Best bang for the buck dd = gti, st, etc... Best bang for the buck people hauler = van Need to set up some guidelines of what you are looking for before you can just say bang for the buck. Depending on your priorities the best bang for the buck car can differ drastically. My priorities went best bang for the buck under $60k: fun > handling > dd The evo handles like a dream aswell . |

Yes, but it handles differently. When I said handling I was thinking of handling in the classic rwd sense. Rotating the rear and the feedback you get from the wheel.
Yes, cars like the evo and gtr can be considered good handling cars, but the feel is completely different. |

Seems the OP is determining what he wants based on the cars features and options.. Then the camaro is the one to get.. The purist approach to a sports car is the FRS .. But you have to understand and appreciate less is more to fully enjoy this car... |

I hear you.
![]() But, we did the very same thing. The two principal cars we were deciding between were the BRZ/FR-S or ... a Boss 302. The common element is FUN; these two cars simply offer DIFFERENT FLAVORS of FUN! Which flavor do we want this time around? ![]() YMMV. |

You'd have to buy a 2LT to get the HUD which is definitely not 23k. I used to have a 2SS (I didn't replace it with the FRS, its replacement is coming) and have been around many 5th gens. The V6 is a pig, I'd rather have the V6 Mustang. Besides, you can get a used 2SS for like 25k now.

Yeah I'm seeing that... It's kind of funny how Chevy isn't really letting that be known. You have to get that one just to get Navi. |

PS: we got our 2014 FRS' in October too, but I highly recommend getting the 2013s and saving $1000+. PPS: we are a va dealer and have both in stock currently! |

I'll echo the comments that this is an odd cross-shop. These cars may technically be two-door, RWD sport coupes but that's where any comparisons end. It's like comparing boots to sandals; they may both go on your feet but everything else is different.
I've rented Mustangs, Camaros and Challengers and found the Camaro to be the worst drive by far (though the newest ones may be better). But of course it does come down to personal preference. |

The '14 Camaro is a pretty good looking car straight out of the package. And for the money, I agree with ichitaka05!
