Interested to hear more about your issues. I'm at 15-16 on 91, going to bump it up to 20+ with E85 (gt28) once this tank is up.

Can race bearings be optionally added to that offering? Also, is an upgraded crank a requirement for a 400whp twin screw setup (I'm going to the Sprintex S5-335 when released)? Are there oiling issues with stock crank under boost? This car will be mostly street driven with occasional track days.

The OEM crank looks to be holding up very well. An upgraded crank is not necessary.

Race bearings will be added once they are available.

.....Race bearings have extra oil clearances at the detriment of NVH,....that's the point.

Proceed with caution, if your stock on fuel system, 20PSI is going to be hard to do, safely.

I'd be surprised if ACL offer any off the shelf FA20 bearings in the RACE series, as ACL are closing their doors next year.

They haven't been able to secure a buyer for the company now it's in receivership:

So they're made slightly larger diameter that stock for more crank to bearing clearance? Y not just polish or turn the crank down to achieve the same result?

We received more Arias/FBM Custom pistons in stock with upgraded wrist pins. You can see in the photo of the standard duty pin versus our upgraded pin.

Our pistons are designed to handle 30+ psi of boost with larger rings, skirts as well as other advantages over most off the shelf piston.

You know the season is around the corner when there are motors to be built. We have built many FA20 motors and looking forward to doing more this coming season.

Do you just lock him in that room and say he can't come out till he's built a certain number of short blocks?!

Haha, that room is the warmest part of the whole shop. I don't think he minds being in there.

Our engine building room is climate controlled to make sure all clearances are checked at room temp.

I am liking the work FBM is putting in on these motors so far.

Will you be doing anything with the Darton sleeves?

I will be waiting until more head parts come out for the car and possibly a stroker kit before I build the motor.
