Got a dyno chart? I know on alot of dynos for the gt/gtx 28 the car seems to start losing power past 6500 or 7000

On my second build I'm not taking any chances and running ACL race rod bearings.

We are working on a fuel system. That is the main reason why we stopped. We maxed everything out.

So did I and it gets scary lean wise,......a full fuel system upgrade is needed at this point......Don at Accelerated ran into this early on, I do believe before Full Blown.

Talking with my tuner about built blocks, he had his "stage 3" that included a different crank that had different oiling holes and arrangement. I assumed the BRZ/FRS had similar cranks and oiling, so maybe there's something across the board related to the rod bearings and crank oil passages?

Anyone did a root cause analysis to see where and how the bearings are failing? Are they deforming due to pressure? Burning due to oil pump not being able to keep up? Until someone does that no one will know why they're failing.

Yes this^^^. I mean what says the acl race bearings will even be any better? If it's an oiling issue then they'll burn up as well.

My tuner was telling me the oil holes were drilled differently and possibly more of them and (can't remember exactly) the size of the oil holes were larger on the aftermarket crank.

He said this was only necessary on the BIG HP engines, but what I gathered from our discussion was the aftermarket crank addressed something that the stock crank had an issue with regarding oiling on big HP engines.
