I don't believe in FB. It is run by the CIA and Mossad.

i don't supose you guys weighted the chassis with everything removed from it? would have been a nice number to have on hand for future discussions.

There could be a lot of potential in the FA20. Someone needs to be the pioneer.. I bet a lot of people are interested in seeing what the ft86 transmission and engine with d4s are capable of.

We've got someone taking the time to post updates during a pretty serious build here.

Paul made it clear on the first page why it's an EJ.

I'm sure if you want to buy your own race team, you could then make the decision to spend time and money developing whatever you want.

Until then, appreciate the time taken to provide these updates, the money that's going into it and whinge elsewhere .. or you might just chase away an interesting contributor.

This forum certainly can't afford to do that.

Haha, don't worry Coyote, the question always comes up. But to answer, this is a D1 car, engine's are as related to stock in D1 as they are in stock car racing.

This post is going to be longer, just warning you all now! More updates while they are working out fuel issues.

This is more along the lines of information of interest - photo of the FA20 cam sensor

The standard motor out of the car

Literally just a intercooler core, we'll be building the end tanks to fit.

More goodies.

Technical tidbits - the standard transmission is built by Aisin for Subaru, labeled as a Subaru. It won't bolt up to a EJ series motor. The bellhousing is different, and the starter motor has been swapped to the other side. We'll be getting a custom Hollinger gearbox in for this build.

Regards,

Paul Hansen
