Droo-P D1 Drift FRS Build
 
Hey guys,

Ran across this post this morning on the BRZ Sports Car Club FB page

"AVO Turboworld Japan has been asked to work on the Droo-P D1 Drift FRS. We will be putting in and tuning a Cosworth engine, turbocharging it, and working on other bits and pieces. This is the standard front crossmember that we will be modifying to fit the Cosworth engine. This work is starting from next Tuesday!"

so im sure we will be getting lots of pictures oof this build starting Tuesday :happyanim:....lets try to dump all the info and pictures in this thread

if that's the stock front cross member then i am impressed, seems to be much more compact compared to subaru.

also, as i said in another thread, with the dry-sump installed (as seen in the photo) the engine can technically sit another 3 inches lower than OEM.. the problem comes in with the headers though. :(

maybe they should have designed the exhaust ports to be angled so that the ehxaust piping can start out at an angle and therfefore not have too hard of a bend.. hmmm

Don't forget about the flywheel and the transmission.

I believe they are aiming at a 600-700hp build, torque intensive. Ross is our engineer doing the work, and he's going to be at it. I'll try and leave updates here as we go.

approx .259 hp/lb or about the same as a saleen s7. Jeebus that is going to be slide happy and a ton of fun, or should i say 1.2 tons of fun.
