Defensiveness activated! I bet you it doesn't get as cold here as you may imagine and it actually gets decently warm too! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wichita,_Kansas#Climate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kelowna...hy_and_climate Comparison! Your wiki seems to hide the Climate data so you need to click Show if you actually want to see it. :P Unfortunately our readings are done at the airport which is at a higher elevation so the readings are always colder than they are in the city no matter what season. Anyway, I better stop talking before people realize how awesome it is here and decide to move here themselves.

No I agree about not wanting a new car without AC. Just was giving you a hard time since you have almost perfect summers (at least to me). |

I love it here but I spent many of my first years here in a car without Air Conditioning and even with all the windows rolled down, if the car was stuck on the bridge (the bad thing about lakes...) I would start sweating an insane amount before I even got to my appointments. Oh, and the memories flood back in...

This summer we had 53 days of +100 degree temps. Now that is hot.

The humidity here is good. We have a dry heat. It feels hot but it's not uncomfortable in the way that 100% humidity is uncomfortable.

Nice! We went 5 whole pages before devolving into a completely unrelated topic. That is some kind of record..
![]() I got the survey and took it yesterday as well. I signed up on the Subie site for the "Subaru Insider" bit a long while back, so I suspect that is where they got my email address. Here is a question for the group. What do you think of the Galaxy Blue Silica on this car? I actually like that dark blue, if it is not too purple. It looked good on the survey sample, more like the dark blue on my current Subaru. Since I rarely (never?) see that color discussed around here, I fear they will not see it on the survey and they'll make very few in that color. WR Blue will be made regardless--Subie is committed to it. And we have too many silver cars on the road! We need to select the other colors to get a bit of variety. And here in the US Midwest, we get a huge range of weather. Can't imagine going without AC.

Here is one of the few I've seen, and it's on the Toyota:
http://my86.co/toyota-86-colours/galaxy-blue-silica/ I like it.
