Toyota uk email
You’ve been behind the scenes, now let’s get underneath that sleek exterior...
Excitement levels are building as we get closer to the on sale date of the FT-86 II concept. Final details are still to be announced but some key technical details have been officially confirmed and we couldn't wait to share them with you... The final production model will be powered by a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine jointly developed with Subaru. This will combine Subaru's proven boxer engine architecture with Toyota's D-4S injection system to deliver increased horsepower and torque. In keeping with the sports car looks, the final car will be available with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission and will utilise an entirely new front-engine, rear-wheel drive platform. The model will combine compact dimensions, lightweight design and a low centre of gravity to ensure the best possible power-to-weight ratio. You can find out more by visiting our blog. VISIT THE BLOG

No offense at you infernal, but nothing new is released from that email.
boxer engine...check 2l engine...check NA engine...check D4-S....check 6spd manual or auto...check front engine rear drive...check compact dimensions, lightweight, low center of gravity...check Good power to weight...check Once again nothing new is released and just the same stuff regurgitated. Is Toyota really going to wait until Tokyo to release the specs? If so, it is going to be a long wait. |

This absolutely needs a thread. I'm signed up for Scion updates just in case anything happens. But we already have our confirmation for this info. |

Toyota UK wouldn't be referencing a Scion (read America) specific concept. I don't think we can read anything into that about whether the body will be closer to MkII or FR-S.
