Check out this thread, good primer: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25001 So, you've lowered the car with sportline springs, and purchased some XXR rims, 8.75 width, offset +35. With stock front camber, even when lowered, that width and offset may poke just a wee bit. To get them even or slightly tuck under your fender, camber bolts will allow you to push them (negative camber) just enough to get rid of the 'poke'. |

Ok then, looks wise you may not need to change camber.
Alignment wise however, it's still not a bad idea to have camber bolts or crash bolts added up front during alignment - these cars are notorious for having very 'loose' specs on factory alignment when it comes to camber. Left and right front camber settings may be significantly different - not a huge deal but a lot of people use camber bolts to get them even when they get their cars aligned. Also the car's cornering ability will improve with a little negative camber on both sides, something between -1 and -1.5 degrees negative camber can improve things noticably. Your call. |

You need more than 2 degrees of camber to have significant uneven wear, which doesn't reduce tread life. What kills tires is bad Toe alignment, which is the main reason you need an alignment every time ride height or camber is adjusted; because they change your Toe.
Toe is simply how straight your tires point. |

Anybody do 18x8.75 +35 on sportlines with 235/40 tire? Just wondering if the camber would need to be adjusted. I'm between the pro kit and sportlines. I know superbee has 245/40 on pro kit just figured with a little less tire it would leave room for a slightly bigger drop.
