I don't mind at all.
I purchased the Premium Kit (GTX28, great turbo)with all the options.
Options price breakdown:
Boost controller - $75
Ceramic coating - $300
Recirculating DT - $175
1000cc injectors - $300
Turbo Blanket - $65
Ecutek cable/license - $350
TOTAL KIT COST right at $7500

Then add in:
FX400 Clutch
FBM 3in exhaust
FBM radiator
Dual tune E85 and 91

Grand Total was right at $11500.00

Quality build with quality parts. I didn't do anything with the cheaper options. I had to go the cheaper route in the past, but I am fortunate enough now to be able to build it with the higher quality options. It is nice to have that option. Again, I am very pleased...I haven't even had the chance to try the E85 map yet. I fully believe 400whp+ is not needed in this car to have a great time. That being said, once I run the E85 map, I doubt I will ever go back to the 91 map.

I love when people are open about what they paid and how much it REALLY costs to properly build a forced induction car that will make big power for many miles to come.

I have done this a few times, and it is just easier to cut to the chase. I made sure LJ had no problem with me listing everything. Once i knew he was okay with it i figured i would share. You could do it cheaper, but man its nice to have everything done right by FBM and i can just enjoy the car.

It says a lot about an installer when his shop is that organized and minty that's for sure. You US peeps got it made with all these great shops so close by and that actually know what the F they're doing to. Great writeup, pics and info I'll be watching for all the moving forward experiences as this kit is on my strong list of considerations. Apple Valley huh, 22 hours and 2208km from where I live, Doable!!!!

Yup and I've driven easily that to, 6hrs would be nothing. I dunno why but yes I'd drive that far to know everything was 100% and it's be a great break in and trial run on way back to.
