@FloridaFRSdriver - if you would bring that machine of yours out to the mountains .... you would really be a happy driver ....
[/QUOTE]Humfrz, I agree. Great idea. Until I get arrested. And end up in Mountain Man Jail I love mountain country... Bout the only thing I miss from New England. FYI, I had already watched some of your driving videos... Looks like you have some some mountains (and driving) where you live. Would really like to run the tail of the dragon in TN.

I feel the same...as long as I don't have any catastrophic engine failures. My car runs great and I love everything about it, but when I hop online and read the horror stories, I DO get a bit paranoid. :-l

I've driven an X-wing, Star destroyer and a Millenium falcon.
The x-wing was kinda close for autocross times, but i constantly had a hard time making it through a gate smaller than a Womp rat. The Falcon had awesome power, but i had more faith in my kitchen sink. To this day, i have no idea why it kept listing lazily to the left. I prefer the BRZ. |

What is the build date of your car? If it was built on or after Jan 2013, you should have the updated ECU that fixed the DI seal issue. The only issue I have had with my car is crickets.

There are lots of other cars I want, but none of them are practical as a daily driver for me. I would say Lotus Elise would probably be my first pick with a Cayman S being a close second.
BRZ is just much more practical and those other cars would end up sitting in my garage.... |

I love my FR-S and all but I gotta be real here.
If someone gave me a Cayman S I would drive it over my FR-S in a heartbeat. OP: Have you ever actually driven a Cayman S? It is a even better driving experience than an FR-S. Think FR-S with luxury and more power. |

I'm the same way. I get really annoyed if anyone wants me to drive my dad's corolla. I've refused to take part in social things on the grounds that the preferred means of transport wasn't my car.

Was it slow compared to the GT-R? Obviously. But as noted, there is something about this car that once you get attached to it makes you smile as soon as you get in. While I would still love a GT-R, I'm still really happy in the BRZ. Although my wife was OK with my plan, a day of driving the BRZ made me realize that this is a car that is worth owning, and continuing to own for a long time.

Talking about Daily commutes, and Weekend Twisty funs, the BRZ will Pump Excitement in your heart. You got that right. After all FT86 is a very good Daily Drive compare to the GTR. |
