Do you really spend a lot of time in 6th gear going over 50% throttle?
6th gear is usually reached at 45+ mph and at that point its extremely minimum.

No problem, my explanation might have been incomplete. Its only at around 30 mph. Anything 40+ its barely noticeable and once up and running (around 50+) its ok. I am not saying they are equal to stock or anything like that, but its really a small increase in NVH.

We run the Cusco mounts on our shop car here and we love them. Yes, they are very very stiff. I would not recommend them if you value comfort, or if this is your daily driver. Now the good thing about them being so stiff is that the response from the engine is immediate as you no longer have any soft mounts soaking up the movement.
You can check out my thread on the cusco engine mounts and rear diff brace here. ![]() http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30313 Thanks, Rick |
