You will love it! I got to drive mine for the first time yesterday and I just could not help but kiss the rev-limiter a few times as it simply sounds amazing!

Thanks again
Rick

Reason is that this pipe is made out of 1mm titanium, so it has a thermal expansion coefficient which allows the springs to tighten up and the noise to go away when its hot.

For this exact same reason, the exhaust will actually change note when it gets nice and hot. It a hard thing to explain with out hearing it in person, but when the exhaust gets nice and hot it shoulds very throaty and deep.

I have one of these exhausts on my wrx, I have never noticed the sound from the springs.
Perhaps it is simply too loud for me to hear it haha.

Thanks for the response.

I notice it on my 60S in the morning. On first start up the exhaust is fairly loud, and you can here the springs rattle around a bit. Once the idle drops and the car is a bit warmer, the exhaust quiets down and you don't hear the springs rattle. Can't wait to go drive it after work lol, it really brings the car to life!

Thanks,
Rick

I spoke to Tomei about making these. They will speak with the Engineers and the other guys there and will let us know if they decide to make one. I would love one too as I want to get rid of that extra hole lol.

thanks,
Rick

This is a deal breaker for me. I'd want that hole covered if I wanted this

+1 that's 100% what holds this as even a consideration for me and I suspect many folks.

I like that extra hole. It exposes all aftermarket parts you have under there on your suspension.

Just a quick heads up!
The 80R is VERY low on stock. We have the last 4 of them in the country until mid-end of December. Demand was higher for this part then Tomei expected, so supply went quic. So if you are interested in that system please let us know and dont miss your chance.
We have a decent stock of the 60S and 60R systems left, but like the 80R the stock is going quick and once it runs out ETA is Mid-End of december.

Dont let others fool you, we are THE ONLY place to stock these system, and have the remaining US inventory on our shelves!! Buy from us, get it shipped directly from us! Simple as that.

Picked up my 80R few hours ago. So very stoked to put it on! Now I need to figure out how to make it work with my diffuser...
