10 Series headlights are $656 per assembly (from the States) and this does not include all the parts you need (I believe). I would think $1500 would be close... Maybe a little more. Assuming you can even get the lights, as it seems they won't sell them to you in the States unless you prove you are a 10 Series owner. Monogram could be different, but who knows. |

All theses series starting to piss me off. They should've had the 10 series, and monogram series from the start as an option. Just like the Brz. This is off the topic but how about fixing the chirping first. Sorry if it sounds like I'm ranting but another 50 more ponies or 100 would be the best news for me. Lol I'm feeling the monogram series though.

They will start including them as standard on the newer years, so probably go that route. |

If I didn't already have an FR-S, then I would wait for the Monogram, but, it seems like a lot of "nice to have's" than so much of a tangible difference in the car. I keep eying up HID's, fogs, spoilers and such, but realistically, what would push me back into another car purchase, would be performance upgrades.
On a side note, I am surprised that no one saw numerous special editions coming (it is Scion after all). Let me fall off my chair in not-surprise. I will still check out the Monogram because I am curious, but, I have only had mine for a little over a year and I would take a bath financially. |

I honestly don't see this costing less than the BRZ premium so why in the world would anybody buy it? because of the front bumper?
WTF? I really like the front bumper of the FRS better than the BRZ but I'm willing to sacrifice that for the Subaru badge any day. |

Wow, has it been that long? I guess it goes to show how much I really paid attention to Scion before the FR-S. Although, they have not been in Canada as long as the U.S., so they weren't a viable purchase before that.

You know, I'm with you on this, but baby blue doesn't come with performance cars (except Porsche and such). They're on plenty of base models. Had Scion FR-S been baby blue exclusive, I'd be hard-pressed to not trade in my BRZ Limited, even if it was a basic FR-S. That's just my favorite color and I've always wanted a car that color without having to do either a cheap and crappy paint job or a good and expensive one.

So much for "Mono-spec". I will not believe another announcement at the scion press conference again lol. I have mix feelings about this. I'm kind of happy Scion/Toyota is going release a version with all the features from the GT86 to the FRS but at the same time these features are not new. They have been out for over a year. The Toyota fans in different parts of the world had an option to pick and choose. The Toyota fans here didn't have an option until now, We should of had this option last year when the FRS was first release. I'm disappointed that we're the last ones to get it. These features aren’t real upgrades, it’s not new to the world. It’s just Toyota/Scion trying to make more money. That’s my opinion.
