I think I'm going to buy. I bought ebay headers for tC in the past and it turned out great. So I'll see how it goes

If you want a function design with a warranty thats cheap, Borla UEL that you can get now is really your only option.

You mean borla and invidia? Having a QA dept at a manufacturing facility makes all the difference in the world. Personally I'd stay away from eBay only products.

That being said, I'm not telling anyone to go buy this. I'm just arguing the fact that not EVERYTHING from China is crap.

Header appears to be EL.
Tsudo makes decent products at cheap prices. Their CB/FP system is actually really good, especially considering its only $550. For my BRZ I'm going UEL, as I want the Boxer Rumble, and I'll be going Borla or RevWorks. Purchase is ~ 1 yr away so only Borla if they resolve their QA issues. If someone is interested in an EL header, I'd say this one is worth the price to try. Look in classified, lots of vendors sell Tsudo that could possibly stock this. |

The design looks excellent actually, utilising a 4-2-1 header design which theoretically minimises turbulence due to collision of exhaust gases and maximising the scavenging effect that will allow more efficient exhaust gas removal from the combustion chamber leading to more clean air volume and a more efficient combustion and theoretically more power. That said, I'm currently studying civil engineering which only briefly touches topics on welding and I can say those welds look pretty poor. The rust is a big indication of a rushed job, poor welding environment or lack of resources and is reflected in the price

@Khazzy
I agree JDL makes the best headers, hands down. Issue is I have a problem paying almost $1k for a header that makes the same power as a $600 RevWorks, or $550 Borla header does. |

JDL are currently running a sale on their headers right now that puts them significantly under the $1k figure. Check out their Facebook page for a hefty discount code. Also, it's not all about the price/gains. Keep in mind JDL headers also include flex joints for durability and a lifetime warranty. Rev Works does not offer either. Borla does offer both but unfortunately they do not consistently offer quality construction and defect free products.
