yup, I was one of those buyers. Actually the first cheap batch sold, he listed it fro higher, then did not have ANY in stock. so he took all listings down and updated his shops website saying another month for production.. I bitched enough to have him sell it to me again at the original cheap price I purchased for in November sometime. if I still want to go that route.. These just look way cheaper too... I dont want to go catless.

These are obviously not a top quality product, but it's easier to consider the gamble at $280 than $400+. If Ebay parts are your thing.

I was planning on getting the Tsudo CB and DP, not because cheap, but because that's just what I want. From pictures, the quality looks just as good as most of the other manufacturers. Plus their CB is relatively quiet apparently which is a plus for me for future reasons.

Well, I guess we cannot really drag on Tsudo. A lot of metal is mined in China because they do not have any environmental restriction. And pollutions is so horrible in China that you cannot see a clear sky in Sanghai. Somebody should buy it ^.^ Bet it would jsut be super super loud like the cat back exhaust.

The design is a little odd too. The pipes merge before going to the collector, is that a flow restriction/disruption? Can someone a little more engineering savvy chime in here?
The design is sound. It is commonly referred to as a 4-2-1 design. Two cylinders opposite in the cycle are merged so there is minimal interference from their pulses. The other pair does the same thing and then the two are merged together instead of all 4 dumping into the same collector. With the nice long runners it should do better than the stock header, which is limited in length by the space taken up by the cat. That is pretty much everything I know about headers so don't look to me to elaborate.

Any non-catted headers on a car without a tune will cause CEL. Get an o2 Sensor from ft86speedfactory and you're set.

Not anymore. You can get equal or better quality off-brand stuff from India (my cookware), Mexico (pens), Malaysia, Vietnam, Bangladesh (shoes and clothes).

Chinese quality that isn't supervised by a first world company has been dropping at a horrible rate. This is because of their wage inflation leaving no profit on their tiny margins. So they still ship products that would normally fail Quality Assurance, to not end up selling at a loss.

Ebay China parts are becoming more of a gamble at less of a bargain. And the previously mentioned cancel and re-price games may get worse.

At $280, this may be acceptable risk to some, as you can have 2 out of 3 fail at you own cost and come in under the cost of quality headers.

But some of us refuse to support that model.
