You might want to take a look at www.leatherseats.com . They offer replacement leather seat covers for our cars starting at around $700 not installed. I replaced the seat covers in my MR2 Spyder 2 years ago with theirs and found them to be very high quality. I did the install myself to save a little money, but was told an auto upholstery shop would probably charge between $150-250 to do the job. As with Katzkins, you can customize them to your liking.
To support what others have already said, if you have any plans on tracking your car you may want to seriously think about leaving the cloth seats in it. Lots of sliding around on leather while cornering. Not very good for turning in good lap times when your trying to keep your butt in the seat. |

@Telfo that's exactly what I have in mine! Except it was nearly twice as much... Blame it on the dealership, they were only selling their FRSs with add-on packages, but I liked the look and I get to pay it over time vs. up front.
The only downside is when tiny crumbs get stuck in the holes, but I either pick them out with a pin or poke them through! lol |

Telfo, is that real leather and not PVC synthetic leather? BTW, alcantara really sucks for hot weather...I prefer real leather than what came with my BRZ. I never had any issues with my Z4MR with nappa leather. I'm looking for quality leather... For those who are thinking of alcantara, unless you love this material...I say pass on it... does nothing for me... just bad as cloth without any benefits I can see. Leather is very easy to clean as long you know how to treat the leather 1 or 2 times a year.
