Let's say there are 1000 units. 2/3rds of them will be limited, and 1/3rd will be premium

333 premium
667 limited

Out of the 333 premium, 1/3rd will be automatic = 111.
Since the premium automatic is discontinued, the model & transmission is a double whammy with only 100-150 units of the car ever made... this turned into a calculation for myself

(Why do you say 10,000 units? I've only heard ~6000 BRZ will be sold in the US for 2013.)

Based on a 6000 number, my Auto GBS Limited is one of just 104. Bow down to my rareness!

It's the MY2013; includes the first BRZ delivered to the 2014 BRZ from May 2012 to Sept 2013. The number wasn't too far off; 10490 was the YTD for September. Of course there are also other 2013 BRZs out on the lot, so I would say there are still a couple lingering. Around 11000 total I assume.

Haha rareness indeed. I have a premium auto GBS, so...

so now that its almost 2014...any way for us to know exaclty how many limited manual, premium manual, limited auto, premium auto GBS are stateside.

i'd love to know how "rare" these cars really are.

I know what you mean only two manuel models in a 50 radius and 4 autos, I like this color more and more.

Just picked up my Limited last weekend.

Traded in a tuned '12 Mustang GT. Big difference in power but the BRZ definitely wins in the fun factor!
