It will most likely be somewhere around the fixing amount based on car estimate value

Update:
I received word today that the other driver finally gave a statement and officially admitted fault. I'm going to pick up my full size rental tonight and my car has been towed to the lot for the adjuster. The exhaust was too damaged to be worth removing, but I was able to get my OEMAudio+ System 400+ and Bel STi-R Plus/Blinder M47 out (all will be up for sale later) with a ton of help from @ftc~brz and two other friends of mine. I'm putting together receipts to give to the adjuster now, and there are, like, 10. I forgot how many little things were on here. I will post again when I hear back from the adjuster.

So far, my plan is to get my check and buy a cheap car with any money left over + whatever I can sell stuff for. Then to pay off all my other debt. And finally, buy a Lightning Red BRZ when I am fully financially solvent again. I'm going to go with a Miata, if I can fit in it. Any other cheap car suggestions that will be relatively easy to find unmolested?

If they are at 10k right now Chances are they will fix the car and then you will sell it I assume right?

This plan assumes total loss. If anything else happens, I will have to figure something else out.

Roger that, if fixing is involved DO NOT TAKE IT just anywhere. I can give great reccomendations

Basically 2 shops in the area which are far but worth it, keep in mind you will need to file a dminished value claim in addition to getting the car repaired. Lots of things ugh.

I would be shocked if they didn't total loss. seriously. That is just way too much damage especially to the frame.

Every true car guy should own a Miata (at some point in his life) so you can understand the standard to which all sports cars should be held, and one would fit in your budget.

Every car you ever look at or drive after owning a Miata you will find you compare to the Miata: "Well, it is more powerful for sure." "Well, it is definitely heavier." "Man, I wish this thing cornered like my Miata did."

Miata engines and drivetrains are rock-solid, and you can buy a high mileage one without fear (assuming it has been kept up with regular oil changes, etc). Make sure to check for lower rocker panel rust.

I came from a Miata to the Twins, and they check many of the same boxes in the good category that the Miata does.

I was parked on the left, yes, but that changes nothing.

Note: Geico will not buy rental insurance for rental cars if you have collision coverage.
