Overpipe fitment?

So I have been debating on whether to get an overpipe or not. Should be an easy decision BUT I have heard a few things that have put me off. I was wondering if anyone could address a few of my concerns.

I have tried searching the forums, but I only found a few threads on this. I have heard that the overpipe rattles when installed. Is this really true? Has anyone had this issue, and how can it be solved?

Depends on the quality of the pipe. I have a Perrin and it fits just fine. With a large front sway at you're likely to run into problems.

well from my experience and what I have now. I currently have the Motiv overpipe, Motiv front pipe, HKS EL header, Ark GRIP, and vortech. I got the Motiv overpipe from @FT-86 SpeedFactory due to the good pricing. The build quality is freakin amazing so you wont be disappointed there, but despite all the complains about other overpipes, the motiv overpipe has A CRAP LOAD of room and had no issues with it since day 1 of the install. I can seriously probably throw my fist in there. Mind you I also have the thickest cusco sway bar up front as well.

so all in all, motiv overpipe. hit up yo at ft-86 speed factory if you go with it.

I was actually planning on getting the Motiv overpipe, looks like a quality product. I am glad there seems to be a lot of space.

Here is the clearance on my Nameless 3" downpipe. Whoever says a 3" isn't possible isn't trying hard enough.

Did you have to do anything to get it too fit in there?

Just like the 2.5" downpipe, raise the engine a few inches from the passenger bolt and it makes it much easier.

Isn't that the only way to install it?

You'll have a hell of a time without doing it. You'd really have to force the overpipe portion under the block which when looking at it would be impossible for mine to go through.

This is doable on jacks if you jack up the engine a few inches after undoing the passenger side engine bolt. I thankfully had a lift which made the install an absolute breeze with a transmission jack to lift the engine up by the oil pan.
