Keep the WOT circuit open with a $2 switch. DR only. In the end...you'll leave it on.

I drove 250 miles this morning (there and back) to visit a client. All but 20 miles on the highway. My fuel consumption round trip resulted in 35 mpg (36 there, 34 home) cruising with the cruise control engaged at 72mph. I engaged the ESC quite a bit; on/off ramps and lots of passing. Power was always where I needed it when I wanted it. Down shifting for passing at 65 is not required. The 3 or 4 times I did down shift to 5th to make a pass, I went from 65 to 90 in the time/distance it took to pass an 18 wheeler. The boost is deceptively strong. Engaging boost between 2500 and 4000 and holding it to 6000 is really a sweet spot.

Dont get me wrong it isnt double the speed or anything but anyone use to the first one would notice a difference from 4000 and up. My butt dyno is very happy. Once we get this thing on the real dyno i think we are going to see some decent numbers. Figuring around 225 on 93oct. |

Interesting comparison though, right? $10K invested how, exhaust, headers, intake?

Okay, I'm doing dyno pulls at Goodspeed of Scottsdale on Saturday, midday. Theirs is a MAHA LPS 3000; not sure that kind of dyno has been represented on the Phantom FTS yet, so that should be interesting!
@fenton This will be with Toma's tune. Last edited by Pug; 10-03-2013 at 06:36 PM. Reason: More info |
