That's messed up... Is there anyway you can work something out with the school? Usually they would be able to defer payment till the end of the semester. I doubt this shutdown will last too long, because if it does some of these politicians might not be politicians much longer.

I'm thinking it'll be close to the 17th before it's over. Unless they allow piecemeal bills to pass then I think it maybe longer (just my opinion) It also doesn't help that there was a shooting in dc to help take pressure off of congress...

Good news is that I was able to change my time card from furlough to regular pay. Still not allowed to use leave though. So maybe there is some unreported progress being made. Idk...

No. 10 holidays per OPM. Usually around 20 days of PTO. So a total of 6 weeks.

I contract...so I've already lost the hours for this bullshit and I wont get them back. Meanwhile, the feds will get backpay.

Boner fucked up. He listened to the tea bagging crazies who wanna trash the Constitution while thinking they're saving it. Low IQ dirtbags are gonna end us all. Wouldn't know anything but the ammendment on guns, and they think it's in the bible. The tea baggers should be charged with treason.
