No need for it, just use stock top hats and you are good. I have had mine on for about 500 miles and no strange noises or problem

Mine are quiet so far as well. I have maybe 50 miles on them, but have gone on some bumpy roads that had my Ohlins coilovers knocking loudly on my 135.

I'm really liking these ST coilovers, the spring rates are relatively soft.

Hey guys, newbie question here: When you installed these, how far were you able to screw the top nut? There's this plastic blue ring in the nut and it doesn't seem like it'll screw any further. Thanks.

2200 miles so far, still loving my ST coilovers.

Ride is similar to stock, improved handling, car is lowered 1.5", no noises or knocking, all is good.

And drop specs are:

Drop Height Front : .8 - 2in
Drop Height Rear : .8 - 2in
Drop Height Front Metric : 20 - 50mm
Drop Height Rear Metric : 20 - 50mm

Hope this helps! Thinking these will be going on my personal BRZ next spring

Thanks,

These are a great option for those looking to get a slight "sport" upgrade from the stock suspension and have the added feature of setting their ride height.

This is like a really good "OEM" sport option. Think Porsche GT3.

How much negative camber are you guys getting on the front end?

For those of you NOT running camber plates...

Alright, I'm in.

My preference is to support local vendors. Anyone besides TireRack selling these things in OH/IN/PA? Don't see 'em on Stranoparts.

Would be great if we are local, but we aren't in Ohio. We recently added this to our line up. Hearing that it is manufactured by KW, we know the manufacturing quality of materials is top notch.

people with these CO, would you say they're an upgrade compare to stock (except the lowering part)?

I would say they're definitely an upgrade compared to stock. They're made by KW (same as the KW V1's) so you know they are quality.

Slightly stiffer spring rates, lowering ability, less body roll, and they seem valved very well for the application.

There's some stutter bumps on the road near me that had my old BMW 135i and my stockBRZ skipping slightly in the turn, and the ST's keep my BRZ rear firmly planted and smoothly eat those bumps up.

Ride is similar to stock, not much stiffer at all, I have over 2000 miles on them and no noises or knocking.

I'm super happy with these coilovers.
