for the sound generator

how far you want to do the delete will determine the plug sizes. i personally left the sound generator mount the (section leading to the firewall) to make re-installing simpler. no notice-able rattle or "un-wanted" sounds from leaving it mounted that i've noticed, fyi.
im assuming, at least mine did, that aftermarket intakes come with plugs for the sound generator, otherwise you kinda have to make your own. one link has the plugs for a full delete, billet plug/firewall plug. then there's a cheap make-shift plug you can get from home depot for the sound generator "mount."

Er...got a speeding ticket already. I'm in California and I need to avoid another one for at least the next 1.5 years (I was told traffic school is only an option every 1.5 years..and I don't want points on my license and I don't want to pay more for insurance :P ) Speed limit is 65mph on most of the highways where I drive...I try to stay within 75-80mph ...and because my car is white...it is pretty visible to cops. (The range is also partly cus the ticket fine jumps significantly above 80mph ... and I dunno if the next cop will be nice enough to ... ah ... "adjust" my clocked speed...next time. And 75mph is a bit slow compared to most of the traffic in the left lanes ...)

But it's really hard...I find myself above 80mph regularly. In the fast lane 80mph is like the minimum speed you can go without getting people passing you like crazy XD

I drive ~100 miles a day, 3 days a week on the highway.

I know my route and I have a Valentine 1 radar detector, so I tend to cruise pretty fast. I never had any concern about keeping the RPMs up for long periods of time. I don't really worry about this engine much.

If it blows, it blows, and that blows, but that's what warranties are for.

Might buy the sound tube delete kit and leave the sound generator there for simpler re-installation as you've stated, thanks!

got one of those too, hands down best "tool" on the market. although im getting a lot of clutter from volvo's etc. w/ their crash detection nanny garbage. if you need your car to tell you your in the wrong lane you shouldn't be driving. period.

You can roll up a bar napkin and just stuff it in the tube where it enters the passenger compartment.
