Car 6, First 4 banger.. By far best looking/handling. Loss of mid-range torque and passing power was initially alarming, however light modding is picking up that slack.

I voted no because I had a BMW E92 335i. Had that car not been in the shop every 3 months I would still be in it. It was a very bitter sweet moment when I got rid of her. If the FRS came with more power stock it might be a different story..

I drove around a kia spectra before getting my twin. That thing was the definition of four wheel transportation, nothing more. Getting back into it makes it feel like a school bus w/ butter sticks for tires. Not even fair in comparison, so my vote is kind of unfair haha

Hands down my fav car! Although there was never much to compare it to before unless you consider my K7 Gixxer ;-) I had a 1st gen Integra m/t, '01 Eclipse GS, followed by an 05 Sentra SE-R Spec V. I will say I had a blast in my Spec V leading all the way up to my FR-S...surprisingly peppy & tons of torque for a 4 banger, great handling for a FWD, used to cause some headaches for a lot of cars that were "faster" on paper, i.e. Mustangs, Vettes, etc. But the FR-S wins without question!

I love my BRZ, but my favorite car is my late 06 GTO. Long tubes, tune, shifter, suspension and other random appearance mods. 375whp/wtq is fun.

For now, a close second to an 85 MR2 I bought new and kept for ten years. It's just hard to beat a small, light, mid-engine car. Plus the MR2 came with the stickiest Yokohamas. The car defied physics.
Time will tell. I'll withhold judgement until I try my FR-S with stickier tires, and learn to exploit it's handling characteristics. It may be #1 yet. |

My previous car was a 2008 335i sport coupe MT. Great car, but I don't prefer it over the FR-S. Very fast and capable but just too heavy for my liking. And yes, maintenance was ridiculous.

Brz is my fav-Love driving 100% of it most of the time. I'm coming from an Evo x and a b8 Audi s4. Evo is a close third to my 87 integra.

Yes! It's by far my favorite car in comparison to my "04" Celica GT, that my sis drives now. I've described that car in other thread's and basically just really hated it, the only thing it did ok at was fuel economy. I am extremely happy with my FR-S, it's my second car, and i have only had the tail light condensation issue and the crickets. I've driven my mom's "06" Scion TC, whenever maintenance or something was being done to either of my cars (drove it for about 3 weeks straight at one point [Celica issue not FR-S]), and i don't like that car much either. I learned how to drive in my dad's chevy truck with the 4 wheels in the back (i think they are called duellie's?), it actually scared me at first because of how wide it was lol. Just really happy with my FR-S, it's a lot faster, more fuel efficient, and quieter than the Celica is.

I think the best way to say it is Toyota got everything right the first time with the MKIV Supra. From the jet fighter cockpit feel for the driver no no that's not right lets just say the overall feel of the driving a Supra no car has ever given me the same experience in all of my years of driving cars. I would say everyone should try and drive a Supra once in your lifetime. Did you know some of the Toyota Supra's features was used to make the FR-S platform like the aluminum hood..?? There's a good topic for this forum to try and find all of the passed Toyota cars that might have influence the design of the 86 platform.

Simple question. That's not so simple at all.
I answered yes cause I love this car. And after driving for 42 years it's the first brand-new car I have ever bought. I have had brand-new cars before but they were drivers provided to me by the dealers I worked for back when I was a car salesman. So the Firestorm is extremely special to me. But that being said I have had a lot of nice cars. The first car I ever owned was a five year-old 69' Camero RS I bought from my Dad when I was 19. He taught me to drive in that great orange car. Remembering Suzie, Karen, and Kathy.... seeing Paradise by the dashboard lights. The Precious memories of that car and the experiences... How can you not take that stuff into account? Then I had a Little white 64 Mercedes 250 SL. Driving with the top off dressed all in white linen with my pet samoyed sitting up in the seat next me picking up the ladies when I was 24. What a summer! Then there were cross country road trips from NY to LA in a 68 El Camino. It could be a movie script. Or, Ski trips to Vermont with my bros in the 67 fastback Cutlas. Or the year my brother left me his 63 split window coupe to abuse. And the years zipping across Florida from Tampa to Cocoa beach in my Subaru FE on all night runs to catch dawn Space Shuttle launches. Or my Stealth that I have owned since 97 that has never let me down even on dirt mountain roads in the high Rockies with names like "No Name" Road or "Oh My God" Drive! Looking back most of the regrets I have in life are of cars and guitars I should never have sold. So, favorite car...? I don't even really know what that means. As much as i love the FR-S, I'm going to have to say no - it's not my favorite. My favorite would be the '90 Integra RS my brother and I made into a DD/autocross use car. It all comes down to the motor and lightweight of the Integra (under 2300lbs prepped) - with racing flywheel, custom intake and downturn exhaust system, reworked suspension, depowered power steering rack, and a more forward weight bias than stock...it was a blast to drive, kept you on your toes, and sounded awesome. If the FRS had a better motor then it would absolutely be my favorite.....the stock FA20 motor just isn't quite up to par with the rest of the car. It needs a more linear power band and is too slow to respond to minute throttle inputs. I miss mechanical throttle cables...
Me having fun in the 90 RS on track:
