Ahh alright, now that makes sense. I'd down on the southside of Saint Aug, near the Shores area. Do you know the guy with the blue VW? I've seen him in your pictures and I've seen him around town haha

Yes I do! Might be a different VW though, he's from fruit cove, and doesn't drive it all that much.

what if he wasnt actually a cop and when you get pulled over and do the name drop, the cop just looks at you with a wtf face? lol
plus there are a couple different divisions in my city. we have longmont pd, colorado state patrol, and boulder sherrifs. sometimes neighboring cities will have cops in our streets too. so i probably cant do a name drop lol

Officer " Do you know why I pulled you over?"
O.P. " oh it's fine officer, no need to worry, I know (name of cop you let drive your fucking car) so we should be all good, thanks." Officer " step out of the car please." |

I've let numerous people drive my car. As others have said, its just a car. If someone wants to drive your car, you should be flattered. But I will say this, if you are new to driving manuals, you're not driving my car.
One person I let drive my car, a salesmen at a Ford dealer where I was looking at an ST, expressed a higher level of competency driving stick shifts then he actually had. I ended that test drive rather quick. But other then that, we aren't talking about some limited edition Bugatti. And its not like these cars have so much power that people are going to wreck on the first turn. |

It's probably a good idea to check your state laws and insurance policy before letting another person drive your car... you might be opening yourself to seriously liability issues if there are any accidents or injuries.
