If you go avo and your car is anything like mine, I'm under 300whp but at 260 tq. With a supercharger the tq is much less so you can get away with a lower clutch rating

No it doesn't. Where are you guys getting this misinformation? That clutch from the manufacturer says it can hold 203 ft-lbs at the wheels. Nearly all turbo kits and even some of the supercharger kits are making more than that.

I don't know I'd consider them pathetic. I'm trying to be objective in my decision but if my goal is the power an SC can achieve, I don't need an oil pump [to the turbo] or my oil pan drilled, I can install in my backyard without lifting the car off the ground.
I mean if you can tell me or link me why a turbo is way better I'm all ears because I want the most cost effective DD setup with regular track use around 300whp, otherwise just saying SC is pathetic is kind of useless... |

It's a clutch that comes highly recommended. I've used it in the past and one that I recently purchased to use again. My last Exedy stage 1 took the 280 ft-lbs I threw at it every day for 4 years until I traded in the car and when I had the clutch uninstalled to return to stock it was in great shape. I'd say 70K boosted miles is pretty impressive. It's a clutch that retains OEM driveability and clutch feel. It's the clutch Ptuning recommended back then, it's the clutch they recommend for their own turbo system now. I tend to trust them because of the quality of work they do and the research they do. They don't recommend a thing if they haven't beat on it and used it themselves. Vendors wouldn't recommend it if it weren't capable of handling the additional strain. I have experience with it at the power levels the OP is trying to achieve, that's why I recommended it. If the clutch fails I'll eat crow and say it, I have no problem with that. I've had clutches fail in the past, springs pop right out the pressure plate and I was nowhere near the power the manufacturer claimed they could hold. It never happened with the Exedy clutch.

Why do people feel the need to take things to PM? There are other interested parties.

ecko04 will be using the Exedy Organic Clutch ecko04 has used one on his previous two non BRZ/FR-S forced induction builds with success ecko04's shop of choice recommends the Exedy Organic Clutch ecko04's OPINION is that the Exedy Organic Clutch can hold much more torque than the 203 ft-lbs it is rated to hold by Exedy themselves King Tut expressed to ecko04 that he is stating an opinion and not a fact
