I should have my JDL UEL Header very soon. I am Vortech Supercharged. As far as build quality JDL rocks. One thing I like is that they have the flex joints to allow for heat expansion. I also like the collector and the welds.

If I did not order the JDL UEL I would wait for Nameless Performance to release their header.

I don't think that would affect anything.

Same boat as him. Nameless and JDL are two extremely high quality headers. Nameless should be releasing theirs soon. I know soon has been used a lot with them, but they are busting their ass now to get it out to us.

I personally went with JDL and I'm waiting on it to be chrome thermal coated. I wanted the UEL sound because exhaust note is big with me.

Every header thread I've seen has had at least one person say wait for the Nameless headers. I'm not familiar with them, but I'm guessing they're known in the Subaru community. If they don't add at least 100hp, are completely weightless, and sound like Jesus taking a shit, I'm going to be terribly disappointed.

It's because of the way they produce their parts. They don't release crap. They thoroughly test things, and if it takes several months (In the header's case, over a year) they wait it out till its right where they want it. There's a reason Road & Track has their exhaust in it.

Additionally, for Unichip to perform at its best (not accounting for stars aligning) you need a map designed for the mods you have. I haven't looked for myself, yet, since I already have the maps I want, but you should do some research to see if the mods you're doing fit well with that solution (unless you are or plan to hire a Unichip tuner).
They have maps for headers thats why I ask if idll solve to upgrade/cel issue

You aren't going to find many large headers because this is only a 2.0L engine. Exhaust on the other hand, you'll find up to 3".
Kk thanks I never really thought bout that but I see now

Lots of people talk shit about the Borla headers, but most of it is just that a few people had problems (there was indeed an early batch that was bad) so everyone else thinks all Borla headers are garbage and spread that attitude around the forums like fire. You'll also find lots of comparisons between the quality of welds on the Borlas vs pretty much every other set. Yes, the Borlas have probably the worst looking welds on the market, but I have yet to hear of someone having cracked welds.

I'm hoping in the future someone will release some obtainable high quality titanium headers. Until then, I went with a used set of Borla headers. Three hunnah bucks. When/if the time ever comes to upgrade, I can probably sell them for what I paid for them or at least really close to it. If you want headers NOW but are concerned with diameter for a future FI build, my recommendation is to do the same thing I am: cheapos for now, upgrade later.

But as it's already been mentioned, I think you'll be fine with just about any set in regards to their diameter restricting air flow behind a supercharger.

If weight is a concern for you, and it should be if you care at all about performance, here are some numbers to make your decision even more complicated: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42555
You're welcome.
U are awesome

There is a limited amount of storage in my brain, and it is full. When I'm presented with new information, I have to decide whether to forget something in order to make room, or never learn the new information. So I'm prioritizing all the time. Consequently, my brain is full of only the most important of facts, as you're beginning to learn.

They won't, and I believe if you dig through the posts you'll find Unichip Jack has said as much. There are definitely header back maps, but you'll want to make sure that there are maps appropriate to your mods, since some mods (like intakes) are tuned specific to the model and others are more general (axle-back, cat-back, etc.). I like and use Unichip, but it doesn't fit every situation so you need to do your homework or expect issues.

Just my $0.02 but the Borla is the cheapest quality header out of the batch. If you wanna get it by all means the choice is yours, but if I were you I'd save up for a legit handmade one like RevWorks, FA20Club, Nameless etc. The resell value down the road will be alot higher since everyone knows these are quality headers that will last and they'll probably all give more gains than the Borla. If you want to stay catted your choices are pretty limited and more expensive. Like everyone else has said, search around the vendor forums and this section and look at all the header threads. Read about them then make an educated decision based on what you personally want. No sense in buying parts other people want.
