I'm running a vortech setup, looking for 350-400whp on 94 octane so just a built motor. Figuring 4-6k to build the engine. Already have the FI, exhaust, clutch/flywheel, and fuel upgrades done.

Now just looking to lower the compression, strengthen the internals since I'm at it and bump up the redline/go to a smaller pulley.

From that blower, being the one supplied with the kit. It's not that Vortech's can't produce that power but you would be overspinning it trying to get there, you are better off not building the motor and keeping the high compression with e8

Vortech does sell larger units, could be a very expensive build in the end however.

Skatery got 365whp so it should be semi doable

I think they need to come out with a kit with a bigger blower for those of us that want to go big. Something that tops out around 16psi. I'd be all over it. 400+hp at 9000rpm is my dream. Can it happen? Only time will tell.

Yeah I haven't heard about anyone getting overrev CELs yet, I'm sure the ecu will cope with 9k just fine.

/sarcasm
