Passed by what looked like a 10 Series on the 22 freeway a little after noon yesterday 9.6

I think a majority of members dont post up spottings unless the car has noticeable mods (greater chances of being on the forums) or unless they make eye contact / wave / thumbs up / etc.

Some members have even stated they stopped posting up sightings of stock FRS/BRZ's

2 frs were at the autocross in fontana today, both appeared stock.

Most my spottings I've honked, waved, or gave the 'peace' signs to when driving by unless the car is parked.
I don't see why someone wouldn't post though because they don't have mods or something that doesn't stand out from the crowds...Our cars are uncommon enough to stand out. It's not like multiple cars of the same color are on a highway or a certain street during a time frame when someone posts

Speedventures.com, they had a full on track event at the same time also. The groups for autocross were very small too ! Got about 12 runs in 3 hours and left early still had about 5 hours of runs left

I dunno. For the most part, when I meet Twins owners in person, they're super cool and great people to be around. When I see Twins owners on the street and I smile my big goofy smile and wave or put up deuces, all I get is blank stares or they just turn their heads away and drive off.

Honestly, it's made me stop wanting to spot owners outside of meets and definitely I've stopped combing through this thread like I used to. I'll come back to it every once in a while but it's just not been a pleasant experience.

I was on I210 today and ran into a Firestorm, and an asphalt. I'm from Texas and in 2600 miles of driving on my road trip they were #s 7&8 twins that I had seen. It was fun spotting them and driving through there w/ them for a bit best part of my road trip so far. Thanks guys.

Completely understand. That's why I only post modded cars since I assume that they're more interested in cars. I don't post stock cars unless they wave or make the first gesture.

I've definitely gotten random stares from other 86 owners
