How much boost is this running with the 70mm pulley?
I'm still looking for that mythical 300/240-250 mark on a dynojet but it looks like it's getting a little winded up top. |

I think with a header + headerback it should definitely be possible on 9-10 psi.

We're sticking to the 70mm to keep the blower below redline. Twin screws do not like to overheat.
We made a little piece the other day that seemed to pick up another 10hp, and the JDL header should be here soon. I think that and some cooler weather should see it go to a confirmed 300whp. With everything in this thread I seem to have neglected what a blast it is to drive this car...though always an ardent turbo person, this is just a totally different driving experience! Nothing like power sliding third in the torque dip

I wasn't interested in this before, but 325 rwhp and a linear tq. curve could sway me the other way. Looking forward to the IC'd version.

The instant torque of the PD blower is really what appeals to me, although I know most of the turbo setups are fairly low lag as well. The cost of this kit in terms of price and complexity is great too. Kind of wish the blower was just a tad larger.

Alright so what's up with the no-intercooler-in-the-U.S. B.S.? (not aimed at you guys personally, but in general) I'm getting ready to have a broker import me a Cusco intercooled kit if they don't start offering them soon. I imagine that coupled with a bigger pump/injectors, 70mm pulley, tune, and header-back could flirt with the 300 wheel mark? Mayyybe a catted header if need be...

Their next largest blower in the S5 lineup flows 66% more CFM (445 vs 740). Doesn't seem like they make anything in-between, but nipping at 300whp should be more than enough for most!

I just don't understand the reason for no one offering it in the U.S. Is it cost, emissions-friendliness (seems highly unlikely), awaiting approval?
