I clamped every vacuum line as suggested when the intake manifold was off. I could see how you could clamp without but would be difficult for sure.
This may help like it did for Nelsmar to see what is under the manifold. ![]() Quote:

You want to avoiding pulling the manifold for numerous reasons.
1. You need replacement, intake manifold gaskets, and throttle body gaskets. 2. You need backup o rings for the port injectors they sheer off/crack easily. 3. You have to remove the injector driver, and plates from both sides of the fuel rails. 4. If its your first time removing it, plan on 3+ hours.

That hose that people have blown off on the CPC Solenoid (Under intake manifold with Blue 2P connector) we blew that off as well. You can just remove the 10mm bolt on the back of the solenoid and slide it forward to get a ziptie or clamp on it. Tracked the car after doing this and haven't had the problem since.
Also removed the charger (10 minutes) so we can install a smaller pulley for more boost, went ahead and removed the AC compressor for a new Air Oil Separator.
